Overview Of Role

As a key member of our trading team, you will play an important role in bringing our growth strategy to life, with a clear focus on winning new business and expanding our presence within our markets. You will support the sales teams to unlock growth through improved distribution, increased market share, and targeted customer opportunities. Managing the CIS brand portfolio, you will ensure brand positioning remains relevant and consistent across ranges, while working closely with Sales and Marketing to develop compelling commercial proposals, including basket promotions, back‑to‑back opportunities, customer initiatives, distribution drives, and activation plans. You will build strong, influential relationships across the business, becoming the go‑to expert for this strategically important segment and helping to turn strategy into measurable results.

The Right Person

We’re looking for a commercially sharp, tenacious business developer who thrives on winning new opportunities and driving them through to completion, while rigorously managing pricing and margin in a fast‑moving, commodity‑led environment. You’ll be a natural hunter—confident opening doors, building pipelines, and converting prospects—balanced with exceptional attention to detail and a highly numerate mindset. Comfortable owning complex pricing models and P&Ls, you’ll play a key role in bringing commercial strategy to life, turning insight into action and delivering measurable results through disciplined execution, strong commercial judgement, and financial rigour.
