An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supply Chain Lead to join a major Defence programme supporting critical UK naval systems.

This role offers the chance to play a key part in delivering strategic procurement and supply chain solutions within a complex project environment, ensuring operational effectiveness and supplier performance across high-profile programmes.

• Lead procurement and subcontract negotiation activities
• Manage supplier relationships and performance
• Support demand forecasting, sourcing and inventory control
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
• Drive supply chain efficiency and best-value delivery
• Support complex Defence and construction-related projects
• Experience within supply chain/procurement functions
• NEC3 or NEC4 contract experience within construction
• Strong subcontract negotiation and supplier management skills
• Construction procurement experience
• Ability to build strong stakeholder and supplier relationships
• Defence or engineering sector experience beneficial
