Job Description:

Piramal Critical Care is seeking a Senior Finance Manager – Europe to act as a strategic finance partner across our European markets. This role is pivotal in driving financial transparency, disciplined planning, and cost optimisation, while enabling Sales and non-finance teams to make confident, data-driven decisions.

You will play a key role in shaping go-to-market strategy, pricing, and profitability, while leading efficiency and cost-saving initiatives aligned with long-term business objectives.

  • Act as a trusted finance partner to Sales and cross-functional, non-finance teams, providing clear insight into budgets, spend, and financial impact
  • Deliver transparent P&L, margin, and profitability analysis to support commercial and strategic decision-making
  • Partner with support functions to interpret budgets, analyse variances, and implement corrective actions
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and budget vs. actual analysis with a strong focus on visibility and alignment
  • Identify and drive cost-saving and efficiency initiatives across operating expenses
  • Support 3PL and logistics operations, including spend analysis, efficiency reviews, and contract economics
  • Coordinate with CFOs and Financial Controllers on transfer pricing studies and related-party compliance
  • Support cash flow forecasting, working capital initiatives, and financial performance reviews
  • Contribute to audits, governance, and compliance activities
  • Develop and oversee robust financial planning processes, including forecasting, variance analysis, and performance tracking
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership, including KPI analysis, trend identification, and risk/opportunity assessment
  • Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to evaluate the financial impact of key business decisions

Education, Experience & Key Competencies

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial finance, expense management, budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Proven experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders and translating financial data into actionable insights
  • Strong track record of delivering cost optimisation and efficiency initiatives
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Ability to balance operational priorities with long-term strategic objectives
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing deadlines
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, Excel, and financial analysis tools
  • Experience with SAP / ERP systems and Salesforce
