Senior Operations – Equities Specialist – Build-Out Opportunity – Elite Hedge Fund
A leading multi-billion AUM hedge fund is looking to appoint a senior Equities Operations specialist to join its growing London office as part of a broader expansion of the platform.
Working closely with the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will play a key role in scaling and shaping the firm’s equities operations infrastructure as the business continues to grow.
The role offers significant exposure across the Operations / Middle Office landscape, with the opportunity to improve processes, drive efficiencies, and help build a best‑in‑class operational platform.
While many core operational functions are outsourced, candidates must have strong hands‑on experience across reconciliations, corporate actions, settlements, and high‑volume trade management. The position will suit someone who enjoys taking ownership within a fast‑paced hedge fund environment, with clear potential for the role to evolve into a leadership position over time.
We are seeking candidates with 5–12 years’ equities operations experience, ideally with some technical or automation capability. An outstanding academic background is essential, with applicants expected to come from a Russell Group university and have exceptional A-level results.
