Position Overview
An opportunity has arisen to join the gastroenterology and hepatology department at Chelsea & Westminster Foundation Trust. The candidate will work across the two hospitals: Chelsea & Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital.
Working Conditions
Any candidate who cannot work full‑time for personal reasons may be considered for the post. If appointed, job modifications will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust and consultant colleagues.
Some roles may require weekend shifts at multiple sites. Employment is subject to a six‑month probation.
Qualifications
The appointee must be a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) or equivalent and should have completed higher specialist training or an equivalent in hepatology. A higher medical degree (MD or PhD) is highly desirable.
Applicants must be on the Specialist Register for hepatology or within six months of being admitted to the Register for trainees currently in a training programme within the UK.
