Location: Kidderminster
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm – flexibility required (Permanent).

Overview
We are looking for an experienced Head of Projects to lead our project delivery function. You will oversee a team of Managers, Project Managers, and Project Engineers—balancing workload, supporting commercial performance, and ensuring contracts are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing project delivery team, including coaching and performance management
- Plan and allocate resources effectively to maximise utilisation and delivery performance
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring programme, cost control and quality standards are met
- Monitor progress and act as the escalation point—proactively managing risks and resolving issues
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the full project lifecycle
- Develop and maintain accurate revenue forecasts aligned to the project pipeline; collaborate with Finance and Operations
- Provide commercial support to ensure projects remain financially viable and aligned with contractual requirements
- Champion health & safety, quality and regulatory compliance, including building regulations and fire safety standards
- Work closely with Engineering, Design and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement
Experience and Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in project delivery, including coaching and performance management
- Strong capability in resource/capacity planning and managing complex workloads
- Excellent project management fundamentals—delivering to time, cost and quality
- Commercial and financial awareness (cost control, revenue forecasting, margin management)
- Working knowledge of JCT and NEC3/4 contracts
- Full UK driving licence
