Senior EC&I Designer

Overview

Our top nuclear Client is looking for a Senior CE&I Designer to undertake design delivery support to construction and commissioning activities, based in Warrington. The role is contract‑based.

Role Purpose

We are looking for a Senior CE&I Designer to undertake design delivery support to construction and commissioning activities.

Job Role Responsibilities

• Fully conversant in 2‑D drawing packages (ideally AutoCAD) and Aveva E&I.
• Production of E&I deliverables such as loop diagrams, block cable diagrams and single line diagrams.
• Ability to update cable details and information within Aveva E&I.
• Review and production of termination details within Aveva E&I.
• Development and update control panel schematic diagrams.
• Ensure that all drawings and documentation are produced to required standards and that the work is completed to the agreed schedule.

Experience, Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications

• ONC/HNC Qualified in Electrical Engineering or other relevant educational background.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and across multi‑discipline teams.
• Previous experience in the nuclear or other regulated industry.
• Long‑term project.
