About the Role

The Operations Director will provide strategic & operational leadership to the team, ensuring the successful delivery & growth of contracts across PV, BESS, Wind, Data Centres & TNO & DNO Regulated Frameworks. Operating within a business scaling up to £200m turnover per annum in the UK Market, this role is critical in positioning Pod-Trak Energy Solutions Ltd as the market leader in the transition to net zero.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership & direction for the team, aligning strategy with the company’s growth trajectory
  • Develop & implement strategies to secure growth, efficiency, & client satisfaction across all Energy sectors
  • Manage the delivery of Energy Projects to ensure they are executed safely, profitable & to programme
  • Support the development of bids, proposals, & strategic partnerships to achieve ambitious revenue growth
  • Ensure that the tried & tested governance frameworks of Pod-Trak are implemented to ensure compliance with regulatory, client, & corporate standards
  • Lead & develop high-performing teams across business development & operational delivery within the company
  • Build & maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, regulators, & industry stakeholders in the Energy Sector.

Requirements

  • Extensive leadership experience in the Energy or Utilities sectors with a strong history in the safe & successful delivery of major projects, & key account management
  • Proven ability to lead both business development & operational delivery functions in a large-scale organisation
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience securing & delivering high-value contracts
  • Understanding of energy markets, funding models, & regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership & people management skills with experience developing high-performing teams
  • Strong stakeholder management & influencing skills with the ability to engage at Executive & Board level
  • Experience driving innovation, sustainability, & cultural change across large, multi-disciplinary teams.
