Job title: EC&I Engineer

Job type: Contract or Permanent

IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Start date: ASAP – Subject to vetting

Duration: 12 months

Pay rate: Depending on experience

Location: Hartlepool, County Durham

Hybrid/Remote Working: Fully on site role

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical services in support of all aspects of the Company’s business and to fulfill specific contracts

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree qualified in a relevant field
• Experience designing industrial power distribution systems (11kV and 400V)
• Manage the interface with the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) and negotiate technical agreements for a new connection
• Stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrate practical, hands‑on experience in an engineering oversight role for the delivery of physical electrical systems, including installation, commissioning, modification, or maintenance activities
• Produce and maintain engineering documentation including quality plans and technical specifications

Eligibility

• UK National Security Vetting Status – Ability to gain CTC or higher clearance level
