Job Overview

We’re currently looking for 5 experienced VMware Engineers to join a secure, high-impact environment.

Location & Rate

Location: Corsham (4–5 days onsite)

Rate: £425/day (flexible up to £450/day for the right candidate)

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on administration and support of VMware vSphere 6.7 environments (ESXi & vCenter)
• Diagnose and resolve incidents within a live production environment, ensuring minimal disruption
• Support BAU operations and resolver group activities across virtual machines, storage, and networking
• Manage full VM lifecycle (provisioning, cloning, migration, decommissioning)
• Monitor cluster health, including HA/DRS configurations and resource utilisation
• Perform performance tuning and optimisation across virtual infrastructure
• Troubleshoot host, datastore, and virtual networking (vSwitch / distributed switch) issues
• Apply patching, upgrades, and configuration changes in line with security and operational standards
• Work within secure SC‑cleared environments, adhering to strict protocols
• Provide out‑of‑hours and weekend support, including high‑priority incident response

Qualifications

• Strong experience with VMware vSphere 6.7 (ESXi & vCenter)
• Proven experience in production support environments
• Solid troubleshooting skills across compute, storage, and networking layers
• Active SC Clearance (essential)
• Ability to work onsite in Corsham 4–5 days per week
