Senior Tunnel Superintendent

Job Description & Requirements

• Overseeing the construction activities and progress, planning, implementation and monitoring work schedules in accordance to the master and detailed work programme.
• Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary works.
• Liaise with consultants (QPS) for technical issues and coordinate site activities with subcontractors.
• Handling of technical and engineering problems.
• Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to construction works, ensure progress according to schedule, quality standards are maintained, site inspections are carried out and technical issues are resolved on time.
• Prepare report and method statement for site activity.
• Manage and control workers and monitor their work closely to keep the site safer and neat.
• Supervise ongoing site activities closely.

Requirements

• At least 8 years relevant experience in construction projects.
• BCSS certificate.
• May be required to work overtime when necessary.
