We are currently recruiting for a Local Business Development Manager to join us at our Vertu BMW York dealership. As a Business Development Manager you will use your prospecting, relationship and networking skills to promote the brand to the local business community and beyond.
We are offering a basic salary of £30,000 with an OTE of £45,000 plus excellent company benefits including a company car.
Responsibilities
- Grow and develop the Corporate and Local Business database.
- Sell cars to the business community, including Contract Hire, Leasing packages and outright purchase transactions.
- Develop relationships, introduce vehicles to new prospects and renew existing customers’ vehicles.
- Consistently achieve budgeted new car and commercial vehicle volumes and Franchise related targets through prospecting and presenting our products & services to local businesses.
- Grow the aftersales business via the volume of corporate cars sold in each area.
- Achieve the Fleet Department’s Monthly New Car Sales registration targets and Brand Key Performance Indicators.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of sales and performance.
- Unlimited confidence, resilience, drive, energy and talent.
- Well presented with a desire, character and attitude to succeed.
- Ability to quickly establish and build rapport.
- Clean driving licence and either FCA approved or willing to be trained.
