We’re looking for an experienced Plumbing & Heating Manager to lead the Plumbing & Heating department at our Ladbroke Grove branch. This is a hands‑on role in a busy merchant environment, where product knowledge, customer relationships, and commercial awareness all matter.

You’ll be joining a supportive branch team within Lords Builders Merchants, with the opportunity to make a real impact and grow your career as part of a successful and expanding group.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading the day‑to‑day running of the Plumbing & Heating department
• Building strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
• Driving sales growth through excellent service and product knowledge
• Managing stock levels, ordering, and product availability
• Providing expert advice across plumbing and heating products and solutions
• Working with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and availability
• Ensuring the department operates safely and in line with company standards
• Supporting and motivating the wider branch team

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in plumbing sales within a merchanting environment (essential)
• Supervisory or management experience
• Strong knowledge of plumbing and heating products and systems
• A commercial mindset with a customer‑focused approach
• Confidence working in a fast‑paced branch environment
• Experience with stock control and department management
• A positive, team‑focused attitude
• Eligibility to work in the UK
