Overview

Barclay Simpson is recruiting an experienced lawyer to join a leading financial services organization on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role requires 2 days a week spent in the company’s Edinburgh office.

The position reports to the divisional head of legal and is focused on the authorized funds space.

Responsibilities

• Spend 2 days a week in the company’s Edinburgh office.
• Report to the divisional head of legal.
• Provide legal advice and support in the authorized funds space.
• Collaborate with a small team, including one other senior lawyer.
• Work closely with the FCA and related regulatory matters.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years PQE (or more junior with relevant experience).
• Strong track record of working with the FCA on authorized funds matters.
• Ability to hit the ground running and deliver results promptly.
