Specialist Cleaner – Kings Lynn Library

We have a successful relationship with Kings Lynn Library and are looking to recruit a Specialist Cleaner on a part‑time basis.

The Role

This is a diverse, hands‑on role with a wide range of responsibilities. You will work as part of a team to ensure all cleans are carried out to a high standard and meet the required specification.

You will be responsible for undertaking specialist environmental cleans within a variety of premises whilst maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. Your priority will be to ensure the standards of cleanness are maintained throughout. This includes specialist tasks such as bodily fluid cleans. Additional training and vaccinations will be required and costs will be covered by Norse Cleaning.

  • Cleaning and maintaining designated areas – mopping, hoovering, wiping down, emptying bins.
  • Building relationships with the client on site.
  • Carrying out routine checks and following health and safety at all times.
  • Reporting any issues or defects on site.

Our Successful Candidate

  • Previous cleaning or caretaking experience.
  • Knowledge of basic site health & safety.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on‑site.
  • Confident working independently and using own initiative.
  • Previous commercial cleaning experience is desirable.
