As an Events Executive, you will be supporting the business in multiple areas across our events. You will play an active part in helping to host events as well as working behind the scenes to ensure the team has everything it needs to put on a memorable day for our clients.
Each day will bring a variety of challenges and the ability to multitask and problem solve will be key to your success in this role. We are a small team which means good communication, versatility and resilience are a must in what can be a fast paced and demanding environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting up and packing down at events
- Driving our equipment and puppies to and from events in and around London, as well as areas outside the M25
- Hosting our events – conducting safety briefings, entertaining clients and maintaining puppy welfare is our number one priority at all times
- Reporting on supplies and our equipment during and after events, ensuring they are safe for puppies, clients and staff alike
- Risk assessing event spaces to ensure they are safe and suitable for Puppy Therapy
- Preparing equipment for events at our Head Office in Chiswick W4
- Managing hosting rotas for events
You will need:
- Full UK driving licence
- Confident at driving, ideally experience driving vans and/or driving in Central London
- A positive attitude, forward thinking attitude
- The ability to multitask, work under pressure and hit deadlines
- Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills – you’ll be dealing with people of all levels at our events
- Adaptability & flexibility
- Ability to move heavy equipment
- A love for dogs, of course!

Hours
The successful candidate must be able to commit to a full-time position. Working hours will be varied and can cover anywhere from 5.30am to 7.30pm. The needs of the business may require this to change as the role develops. You must be able to attend all events regardless of location, however, you do not require your own vehicle to do so.
Travel
We hold events across London and surrounding areas. You will work across multiple teams which including safely transporting our pups to and from events, setting up and packing down our events and you may be required to take public transport to some event locations. You must be a confident driver and hold a full clean UK driving licence for this position.
Training
We’ll train you alongside our excellent team at both our events and our office in Chiswick W4 so we can get you up to speed as quickly as possible. You’ll also need to complete an online pet first-aid training course within your first 4 weeks which Paws in Work will enrol you onto.
