Senior Civil Engineer – Hemel Hempstead

We’re a well-established, multi‑disciplinary consultancy strengthening our civil engineering capability in the South East. This opening offers a senior engineer the chance to take ownership of projects, influence delivery and play a key role in a high‑performing team across residential, commercial and mixed‑use developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of drainage and infrastructure schemes
  • Prepare Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies
  • Deliver S104/S38/S278 approvals
  • Coordinate with clients, authorities and internal teams
  • Mentor and support junior engineers
  • Contribute to programme management and technical quality

About You

  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or similar)
  • Strong UK consultancy experience, particularly in drainage and infrastructure
  • Confident using AutoCAD and drainage software (e.g., InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage)
  • Experience managing projects and client relationships
  • Working towards Chartership or already achieved
