About you:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an office-based accounting role
- Strong GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office packages
What you’ll do:
- Process supplier payments accurately and ensure timely payments
- Reconcile supplier statements and input payments efficiently
- Maintain accurate financial records, control accounts, and lead schedules
- Conduct daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and statutory financial reports
- Assist with payroll processing and VAT-related activities
- Respond to supplier and internal enquiries professionally
- Communicate effectively to foster relationships and ensure smooth financial operations
- Perform other finance-related tasks as required by the Management Accountant
