Business Development Manager – French Speaking
Making communication with customers and colleagues more effective, comfortable and valuable, this Edtech success story is looking to strengthen a well‑established French market presence further with the addition of a proven, French‑speaking deal closer based in our London hub (hybrid: 2 days in the very well‑stocked and dog‑friendly office).
You’ll ideally have progressed along the SaaS sales road to Account Executive on the French market, understanding the importance (and enjoyment) of prospecting as well as having the ability to present, demonstrate value and close six‑figure+ deals with senior decision makers in French. Ideally up to enterprise level, but we also welcome up and coming mid‑market/SME AEs. Experience selling into HR, L&D, or education is a plus; we value the ability to sell effectively.
The key point is that you have the emotional intelligence, ability to listen and adapt to your prospects in a way that lays the foundation for long‑term partnerships. Knowing the value of languages to connect with people is also crucial. You’ll speak and write French and English fluently; any additional languages are welcomed at any level.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and engage senior decision makers across the French market.
- Present, demonstrate product value, and close high‑value deals.
- Build and nurture long‑term partnerships with clients in tech, FMCG, finance, insurance, automotive, and more.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
Qualifications
- Fluent in French (written & spoken) and English.
- Progressed to an Account Executive or similar role in SaaS sales, ideally within the French market.
- Demonstrated track record of closing multi‑figure deals with senior stakeholders.
- Experience in HR, L&D, education or related sectors is highly desirable.
- Strong emotional intelligence, listening skills, and adaptability to client needs.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary up to £85,000 (100 % OTE) plus comprehensive health, pension, L&D budget, work‑from‑anywhere allowance, free food & drinks, dog‑friendly office, socials, and more.
