A growing specialist education provider is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of School to lead a high‑performing SEND/SEMH provision in Kings Cross.

The role
As Head of School, you will take responsibility for the day‑to‑day leadership of the site, ensuring consistently high standards across teaching, learning, behaviour, safeguarding and operations.
You will:
- Lead school improvement strategy and implementation
- Drive high‑quality teaching, learning and curriculum delivery
- Manage and develop staff performance and leadership capacity
- Oversee safeguarding, behaviour and attendance
- Manage budgets, resources and operational effectiveness
- Work closely with the Executive Head Teacher and external partners
About you
We are looking for a confident, experienced leader who can evidence:
- Senior leadership experience in education (Head of School / Deputy / equivalent)
- Strong track record of improving outcomes and standards
- Experience within SEND and/or SEMH settings
- Ability to lead teams, drive accountability and inspire staff
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education
Leadership qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Salary & package
- 55,000 – 70,000 (DOE)
- Full‑time, permanent contract (42 weeks)
- 40 hours per week
