An excellent secondary school in the Hampton area (Middlesex) is looking to appoint a Head of Design Technology to join their leadership team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced DT teacher ready to step into leadership, or an established Head of Department looking for a new challenge.

The role

• Lead and develop a successful Design Technology department
• Teach across KS3-KS5 (depending on specialism)
• Drive curriculum innovation and high standards of teaching & learning
• Support and develop staff within the department

• Well‑established 11-18 secondary school
• Supportive SLT and strong leadership structure
• Good facilities for DT
• Focus on staff development and progression

The ideal candidate

• Strong DT subject knowledge (any specialism considered)
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
• Leadership experience or ready to step up
• Passion for raising attainment and developing curriculum

Salary

Main to Upper Pay Scale + TLR1a (£10,174)
