Key Account Manager – FMCG, Supermarkets & Discounters Location: Essex (3 days in-office / 2 days client visits)
Compensation: Competitive base salary+ 15% Annual Bonus
We are expanding from our traditional heritage categories and scaling into a global Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) business. As our new Key Account Manager , you will take strategic and operational ownership of a £3.6 Million budget across 10 to 12 major retail accounts. Your mission is dual-focused: nurturing established high-street relationships while driving new business development for our rapidly growing non-food and general merchandise lines.
Manage & Penetrate: Lead relationships with major supermarket chains (like Morrisons, Asda, Co-op) and drive expansion into top-tier grocers like Tesco and Sainsbury’s. Execute Strategy: Balance high-level commercial strategy with hands-on execution—including store visits to monitor competitor presence and store layouts. Proven track record as a Key or National Account Manager within the UK FMCG / Grocery / Discounter sectors. A strong relationship builder with existing contacts in major high-street discounters or supermarkets. ♂️ A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset—someone who loves being out in the field as much as building a commercial strategy.
