The Role
We’re looking for a highly organised and commercially minded Contract Manager to take ownership of the operational lifecycle of our customer contracts. This is not a legal role — instead, you will ensure our contracts are accurate, discoverable, and actionable, supporting Sales, Account Management, Billing, and Operations.
You’ll maintain the single source of truth for all contracts, proactively manage renewals, drive commercial accuracy, and provide insights that protect revenue and support customer retention.
If you’re detail‑focused, process‑driven, and passionate about enabling teams to work smarter and deliver great customer experiences, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
Contract Control & Organisation
- Locate, centralise, and maintain customer contracts.
- Create and manage a complete inventory including services, values, terms, renewal dates, and notice periods.
- Apply consistent naming conventions, version control, and document standards.
Renewals & Lifecycle Management
- Track renewal and expiry dates, ensuring Account Managers receive timely, clear information.
- When required prepare renewal paperwork, service schedules, and change documentation.
Data Integrity & Systems Alignment
- Ensure CRM and billing systems reflect contracted services accurately.
- Reconcile discrepancies and highlight risks such as out‑of‑contract services or missing documentation.
- Log contract variations and service changes comprehensively.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Act as a central link between Sales, Account Management, Billing, and Operations.
- Support onboarding and offboarding from a contract perspective.
- Ensure smooth handovers and clear communication across teams.
Governance & Templates (Non‑Legal)
- Maintain approved templates for MSAs, SoWs, schedules, and order forms.
- Ensure internal pricing/discount approvals are correctly attached and followed.
- Support audit readiness and help strengthen internal compliance.
Note: This role does not negotiate legal terms, amend liability or data‑protection clauses, or approve/sign contracts.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in contracts administration, commercial operations, sales operations, customer success operations, or similar.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Confidence working with CRM and billing systems; strong Excel/Sheets capability.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and proactively chase actions.
- A continuous improvement mindset — you spot gaps and help fix them.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in telecoms, IT, managed services, or subscription‑based environments (advantageous).
- Familiarity with HubSpot or other CRM tools.
- Understanding of renewals, price uplifts (CPI/RPI), or subscription management.
- Evidence of continuous learning or process improvement.li>
Who You Are
- Detail‑driven — you take pride in accuracy and clarity.
- Organised and dependable — people rely on you to keep things moving.
- Commercially aware — you understand the impact of contract accuracy on revenue.
- Proactive — you don’t wait to be asked; you anticipate what’s needed.
- Collaborative — you work well across teams and share information clearly.
- Process‑minded — you love creating structure where there is none.
