Head of Media Strategy & Growth

London (Soho)

Hybrid (3 days in office)

Salary: £75,000-£90,000 (flexible)

We’re partnering with a fast-growing, independent integrated agency based in Soho to hire a Head of Media Strategy & Growth.

This is a senior leadership role with real influence — ideal for someone who wants to step out of a network environment and into a business where they can shape the future of media, not just operate within it.

The role:

You’ll sit at the heart of the agency’s evolution, leading the charge across growth, pitching, and modern media strategy. This includes blending traditional planning excellence with AI-driven approaches, social-first thinking, and influencer ecosystems. Working closely with leadership and creative teams, you’ll ensure media is not just a channel, but a key driver of standout ideas and commercial impact.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead new business and high-stakes pitches, delivering compelling, creative media strategies
  • Leverage your network and market knowledge to unlock growth opportunities
  • Develop bold, insight-led planning approaches that cut through in a crowded landscape
  • Drive the integration of AI tools and modern planning methods across the agency
  • Partner with creative teams to maximise campaign effectiveness and innovation
  • Help shape the agency’s media proposition and long-term growth strategy

Skills Needed:

  • 10+ years’ experience in media planning/strategy, ideally within an agency environment
  • Strong track record in pitching and driving business growth
  • Deep understanding of the London media landscape
  • Commercially minded with the ability to spot and develop new revenue opportunities
  • Collaborative leadership style, comfortable working in a close-knit, high-energy team
  • Curious and forward-thinking, particularly around AI, social and emerging media trends
