We’re partnering with a Series A HR tech company in London (Chancery Lane). It’s an AI-native HRIS backed by some of the most respected operators in B2B software, plus Y Combinator. About 50 people, real momentum, and a product category that’s genuinely up for grabs right now.

They’re hiring a Sales Development Team Leader, a player-coach who’ll own outbound from the ground up. You’ll lead and develop a team of 4 SDRs while staying close to the calls yourself (around 30% IC contribution). This isn’t inheriting a finished playbook. You’re defining it.

What you’ll be doing:

Lead, coach, and develop 4 SDRs through call reviews, 1:1s, and hands-on deal support

Own outbound strategy end-to-end, with cold calling as the primary channel

Build and optimise AI-assisted sequences and tooling (Clay, Lemlist, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)

Personally open target accounts and take demo calls alongside managing the team

Partner closely with AEs and RevOps to drive pipeline conversion

What they’re looking for:

✅ Minimum 2 years managing or leading a BDR / SDR team (hard requirement)

✅ 5+ years of outbound sales experience, with no more than around 10 years total professional experience

✅ Genuinely strong cold calling skills, with the ability to do it yourself and coach others to do it well

✅ Experience in a high-growth, VC-backed B2B SaaS environment (YC alumni a bonus)

✅ Comfortable in a player-coach model with around 30% personal IC contribution

£70-75k base / £95-100k OTE plus competitive equity. 4 days in office at Chancery Lane, London. UK right to work required, no visa sponsorship available.
