Senior Finance Manager – Watford – 12 month FTC

JSS are delighted to be partnering with our client who are based in Watford on the recruitment of a new Senior Finance Manager role. This Senior Finance Manager role will be the primary business partner for the month end and business partnering – acting as the main point of contact in Distribution and Stores Finance for their financial analysis needs.

This Senior Finance Manager position will be responsible for driving the profitability of Distribution & Stores through production of the management accounts, budgets, forecasts and project finance support.

Role

• Business partner to the Distribution Director & Retail Stores Director leadership team providing financial analysis, support and challenge
• Own the relationship with third parties in Distribution & Retail Stores. Provide high challenge and support ensuring they are held to account and efficiencies identified
• Responsible for the forecasting, budgeting, ongoing risks and opportunities, 5 Year Plan and longer term planning processes for the Distribution & Service costs ensuring all stakeholders are appropriately engaged
• Ownership of review and sign off of monthly financial results for Distribution & Stores full P&L. Production of the monthly management accounts slides which clearly articulate the story.
• Aiding commercial and strategic decision making
• Central point of contact within Distribution and Stores full L&L Finance for the FP&A / Finance teams for all finance and audit deliverables

Profile

• Several years experience at Senior Finance Manager level in Retail or FMCG
• Retail industry knowledge in a plc or large business
• Good understanding of Supply Chain/Distribution and/or Retail Stores full P&L

On Offer

• A Fixed Term Contract for 12 months
• Salary circa £80-85k plus bonus and hybrid working 3 days in office
