E ngineer ingConsultant / Senior Engineering Consultant (Ref EC/SEC-W)
LUSASis a high tech company specialising in the development of applicationsoftware for Bridge and Civil/Structural analysis and design, based on theLUSAS finite element system. Wealso provide dedicated engineering consultancy services for performingengineering analyses.
We seek an Engineering Consultant to join our team ofengineers undertaking consultancy projects and supporting our worldwideclient base.
You should have a good degree in Civil/Structural Engineering anda minimum of two years analysis/design experience using stress analysis software in structuralengineering, preferably including one of these areas: bridge design, LNGanalyses, geotechnics.
Experience of using LUSAS would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be given.
Although the minimum requirement is twoyears analysis/design experience, this vacancy will also suit more seniorengineers. Senior engineers are encouraged to apply and will be consideredfor the Senior Engineering Consultant position.
The position will involve:
- Carrying out analysis and third-partychecking on a range of consultancy projects such as bridge design andassessment, stadium design checks, LNG tank design,specialstructures etc.)
- Providing technical support to LUSASusers worldwide
- Presenting LUSAS training courses
- Providing pre-sales support to the UKsales team, LUSAS offices and Distributors worldwide
Among your personal qualities will be good communications skills, an imaginative problem solving ability, a highly proactive attitude, strong customer focus and the ability to be a good team player.
The job will provide exposure to a wide range of interesting engineering problems and an opportunity for you to further develop your analysis skills.
An excellent remuneration package is availabledependent on experience.
