Job Description:

Overview

Expleo have an opportunity for an experienced aerospace design engineer (composite & metallic). The role will involve being responsible for formulating technical solutions for a range of tasks ensuring that design standards and customer requirements are met within your design.

As a part of this role you may be requested mentor, assisting the development of other team members.

Responsibilities

  • Define interfaces and design principles
  • Design Wing Primary Structure (early maturity)
  • Create and manage 3DX1 data (ECNs, 3D parts/products, drawings, 3D annotations, schedule sheets)
  • Support design reviews and Technical Meetings

Essential skills

  • Familiarity with Airbus Design Methods and Processes
  • Previous Wing Primary Structure Design experience (through various maturity phases)
  • Previous Catia V5 Composite Work Bench experience
