What You’ll Do

As an SME Key Account Manager, you’ll own and grow a portfolio of business customers, building strong relationships while driving revenue, retention, and profitability. The role is primarily phone-based, supported by occasional face‑to‑face meetings, and is ideal for someone who thrives in a target‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of SME accounts, meeting and exceeding volume and revenue targets
  • Build strong client relationships through regular calls and structured account reviews
  • Identify opportunities to increase share of wallet, cross‑sell services, and drive sustainable account growth
  • Monitor pricing, performance, and profitability, taking proactive action where required
  • Produce clear, actionable reports on portfolio performance and growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Operations, Finance, and Marketing to deliver the best customer experience
  • Handle customer queries and resolve issues quickly, professionally, and effectively
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date CRM records to support forecasting and reporting

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in account management or a similar customer‑focused, commercial role
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • A proactive, target‑driven mindset with the ability to spot and act on opportunities
  • Confidence working with data, performance metrics, and reports
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Nice to Have

  • Experience within e‑commerce, logistics, or B2C environments
  • Knowledge of pricing, profitability, or P&L management
  • Experience handling challenging customers or complaints
