About the Role
We have a position available with a Social Housing Contractor who focuses on quality of service and customer care and has great staff retention rates. The contractor is recruiting for a Tenant Liaison Officer to join the team on a permanent basis in the North West, working on planned maintenance for tenanted properties.
Responsibilities
- Develop positive relationships with residents to provide information and support during refurbishment, maintenance and major works programmes.
- Book appointments and manage your own diary.
- Pre‑entry visits and company inductions.
- Collect tenancy agreement/approval forms.
- Visit tenants in their homes to advise them on when and what work is being carried out.
- Act as the main point of contact and deal with any problems or queries a tenant may have.
- Contact neighbourhood housing associations and establish working relations with them.
- Visit empty houses that are being refurbished with potential tenants and advise them on completion dates.
- Attend and chair tenant forum meetings to advise tenants of works being carried out.
- Monitor customer complaints and resolve any potential issues.
- Monitor customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong and stable career within face‑to‑face customer service, ideally within Housing or Construction sectors.
- Full driving licence and own transport.
- Ideally hold a current CSCS Card.
Compensation
£28k per annum plus a £3k car allowance and mileage.
