Job Overview

Global brand hiring: Senior AWS / Full Stack Engineer – 12 month contract – Remote/UK based.

I’m looking to connect with experienced engineers who thrive in cloud‑native environments and enjoy building scalable, data‑driven applications.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years working with AWS services including Aurora, Postgres, Redshift, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFront, SES, API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge, and SAM/CloudFormation
• Familiarity with GitLab (or similar) and CI/CD workflows
• Proven track record optimizing data storage, retrieval, performance, and cost efficiency
• Experience integrating data from APIs, databases, and streaming platforms into centralized systems (data lakes / warehouses)
• Hands‑on experience with serverless architectures, DevOps practices, containers, and cloud security

Bonus points for:

• Advanced knowledge of data security best practices (encryption, IAM, access controls)
• Strong collaboration skills across engineering, product, and business teams
• Solid understanding of SDLC, testing, and cloud-based delivery
