VP, Java E-Trading – Low Latency

What We’re Looking For

• Significant commercial experience building and supporting complex software systems (typically 10+ years)
• Strong expertise in core Java
• Deep understanding of concurrent programming and parallel execution
• Background in developing high‑performance pricing or trading platforms on Linux
• Proven experience with performance analysis, profiling, and optimisation

Nice to Have

• Exposure to electronic FX or similar low‑latency environments, including memory‑efficient / GC‑conscious systems
• Familiarity with financial market protocols (e.g. FIX‑style or binary encodings)
• Experience designing resilient, highly available distributed systems
• Knowledge of low‑latency messaging frameworks
