An ambitious and well-regarded independent construction consultancy is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their Cambridge team. The successful Project Quantity Surveyor will support senior commercial staff across the full project lifecycle, gaining exposure to both pre- and post-contract duties. The Role
- Assisting with cost planning, budgeting and feasibility studies
- Supporting procurement processes, tender preparation and analysis
- Assisting in the administration of contracts (primarily JCT)
- Monitoring project costs, variations and change control
- Supporting valuations, interim payments and final accounts
- Preparing cost reports and financial updates
- Working closely with project teams and stakeholders to support successful delivery
The Project Quantity Surveyor?
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
- Previous experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor, Assistant Quantity Surveyor or similar
- Good understanding of JCT contracts and commercial processes
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Confident communication and organisational ability
- Ambition to progress towards chartership (RICS or similar)
