Job Title: Site Agent – Shaft Sinking / Tunnelling

Location: OtterbourneRate: £350 per dayContract Length: 12 months contract with potential extension and long‑term role on a major water infrastructure scheme

About the Opportunity

We’re recruiting an experienced Site Agent to oversee shaft sinking and tunnelling works on a major water treatment project in Otterbourne. This is a long‑term role on a complex infrastructure package, ideal for someone with strong experience in utilities, tunnelling or water treatment environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage daily site operations across shaft sinking and tunnelling works
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant and materials
• Ensure delivery is safe, on programme and to technical specification
• Maintain strict H&S, quality and environmental standards
• Liaise with engineers, project managers and client representatives
• Support planning, permits, RAMS and progress reporting

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Proven Site Agent experience on tunnelling, shaft sinking, utilities or water treatment projects
• Strong knowledge of water/wastewater environments
• Excellent understanding of H&S and site management procedures
• SMSTS – essential
• CSCS – essential
• Temporary Works knowledge – advantageous
