Fractional UK Medical Lead – Obesity & GLP-1 Digital Health

UK Remote (Fractional / Freelance Contract)

  • 12 month rolling contract
  • Up to 20 hours per week

I’m currently partnering with one of the UK’s most exciting and rapidly scaling digital health businesses as they continue to expand their obesity and GLP-1 treatment offering.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a medically qualified obesity/metabolic health specialist who wants to help shape how large-scale, protocol-driven obesity care is delivered within a modern telehealth environment. This is a senior strategic position with significant influence on future clinical service development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and optimising GLP-1 prescribing protocols
  • Supporting complex patient management and escalation pathways
  • Building scalable clinical frameworks and decision logic
  • Supporting governance, audits, and edge-case reviews
  • Ensuring prescribing remains compliant within UK private healthcare frameworks
  • Partnering cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Pharmacy teams
  • Translating emerging clinical evidence into scalable prescribing pathways

Ideal Background

  • UK-registered Medical Doctor with active licence to practise
  • Experience within obesity, metabolic health, endocrinology, GLP-1s, or weight management
  • Strong understanding of telehealth and remote prescribing environments
  • Experience contributing to clinical governance, audits, or protocol development
  • Comfortable making population-scale clinical decisions within regulated frameworks
  • Commercially aware with a systems/process mindset
  • Experience working within high-growth digital health or startup-style environments preferred
  • Interest in AI-enabled healthcare and scalable models of care highly advantageous
