Our client, a renowned regional main contractor is looking to recruit a Structural Design Engineer to join their in-house technical team.
This is a great opportunity to work on a wide variety of construction projects while developing your design capability.
The role will involve:
• Designing temporary and permanent works
• Reviewing and checking third-party structural designs
• Producing 3D structural models (RC and steel frame)
• Providing technical support to site teams and resolving engineering queries
• Attending site visits and design meetings
Requirements:
• Experience designing to British Standards / Eurocodes
• Knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry and timber structures
• Proficiency with Tekla Structural Designer and Tedds
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
