Strategic Technology Partner Manager

  • Supplier Strategy & Market Insight: Define and execute long-term supplier strategies aligned to organizational goals, leveraging market intelligence to segment suppliers, manage risk, avoid technology duplication, and enable innovation and resilience.
  • Value Creation & Innovation: Drive measurable value with strategic partners through global collaboration, co‑innovation, and initiatives that enhance colleague and customer experience.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build trusted, strategic partnerships; act as the primary escalation point; and lead structured governance including QBRs, performance scorecards, and stakeholder alignment forums.
  • Commercial & Performance Governance: Establish clear performance frameworks covering KPIs, SLAs, demand, capacity, financial risk, compliance, and continuous improvement, ensuring corrective actions are delivered.
  • Leadership & Culture: Inspire a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement by setting a clear vision and engaging internal teams and partners.
  • CSR, Sustainability & Cross‑Functional Alignment: Advance sustainability, supplier diversity, and ESG goals while working closely with IT, procurement, legal, and finance to support ethical contracting, renewals, and innovation adoption.

This role is a hybrid opportunity, offering 1-2 days Working from home.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience & Expertise: 5–8+ years in complex IT environments, including 2–5 years in leadership roles managing technology suppliers, with proven success in large-scale, outsourced partnerships (ideally retail).
  • Commercial & Strategic Acumen: Strong track record in commercial principles, contract tendering and negotiation, supplier management, and shaping business strategies as a trusted advisor.
  • Analytical & Delivery Skills: Advanced analytical, research, and problem‑solving capabilities; strong understanding of UX best practices, emerging trends, and project management methodologies (Agile and traditional).
  • Leadership & Influence: Ability to set and communicate a clear strategic direction, inspire ownership, coach and influence others, and drive change with sound judgment, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills; emotionally intelligent collaborator who builds trusted relationships, manages sensitive matters confidentially, and engages stakeholders at all levels.
  • Personal Attributes & Mindset: Thrives in fast‑paced environments; customer‑centric, entrepreneurial, detail‑oriented, and proactive; passionate about the Primark brand, fashion industry, and delivering continuous improvement aligned to the Technology mission.
