Overview
We are looking for an experienced Landscape Planner to join our Environment team in London. The role is open for Senior or Principal grade candidates and focuses on delivering exceptional service that fosters sustainable and successful development for our expanding client base.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for delivering Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs), Townscape and Visual Impact Assessments (TVIAs) and supporting related workstreams such as strategic planning and mitigation. The successful candidate will be involved in high‑level teamwork, often participating in appeal work for sites in sensitive landscapes and collaborating with leading UK legal counsel. You should possess a keen eye for detail and the ability to undertake bespoke landscape and visual analysis.
Qualifications
- A degree or postgraduate diploma in Landscape Architecture
- Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute
- Proven experience in LVIA, feasibility studies, landscape planning and design, support of landscape statements and mitigation strategies
- Track record in the energy sector
- Strong technical report writing skills
- Demonstrated project management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Proactive, strategic and analytical approach to support client requirements
