Audit & Accounts Semi Senior

We are recruiting for an ambitious and motivated Audit & Accounts Semi Senior. This role is ideally suited to some who is part-qualified, working towards their ACA qualification.

The Role

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit and accounts services to a diverse client portfolio, while continuing to develop your technical expertise and professional skills while progressing towards your ACA qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver audit and accounts assignments across office and client sites
• Support senior team on larger engagements; complete work to standard and apply feedback
• Lead smaller assignments with manager oversight
• Delegate tasks to trainees and provide guidance and feedback
• Liaise with clients to support planning and delivery of assignments
• Monitor and report progress, budgets and timelines
• Take ownership of work, ensuring quality and deadlines are met
• Maintain compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements
• Stay up to date with relevant regulations and internal systems

About You

• Experience in an accountancy practice within an Audit & Accounts role
• Solid understanding of audit and accounting standards
• Ability to meet deadlines and work within budgets
• Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues
• Good organisation and time management
• Proactive, solution-focused approach
• Proficient in Excel and audit/accounts software (e.g. CCH)
