Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: London (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to £80,000 + Package

We are currently working with a well‑established, design‑led façade and cladding specialist delivering projects across new build, reclad and refurbishment sectors. With a strong reputation for technical expertise, quality and risk management. Particularly across high‑risk building envelope systems they are now seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Full commercial management of façade / cladding packages
• Preparation and submission of valuations, variations and final accounts
• Cost planning, forecasting and reporting to senior management
• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
• Contract administration (JCT / NEC forms)
• Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
• Liaising with clients, project teams and supply chain partners
• Supporting junior QS staff where required

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within cladding / façades / external envelope
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts (JCT preferred)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
• Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
• Relevant qualification (Quantity Surveying or similar)
• Experience working for a subcontractor or specialist contractor is highly desirable
