About the Role
As a Clinical Lead Nurse, you will oversee clinical care, manage a team of nurses, and ensure the home consistently meets CQC standards. This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Nurse or Nurse Manager seeking a clinical lead or deputy manager position.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the clinical care team, ensuring high standards of care and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee care plans, clinical assessments, and medication management to ensure residents receive the best care possible.
- Provide mentorship and support to the nursing team, ensuring professional development and high‑quality care delivery.
- Take responsibility for CQC compliance and ensure the home is inspection‑ready at all times.
- Work closely with the Nursing Home Deputy Manager and senior management to drive quality improvements and operational success.
- Manage staff rotas, ensuring effective staffing levels and continuity of care.
About You
- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with valid NMC registration.
- Previous experience as a Nursing Home Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, Senior Nurse, or Nurse Manager is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management, staff development, and care planning.
- Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and the ability to maintain high standards of clinical care.
- Passionate about nursing home care, committed to improving the lives of residents, and ready to take on a Clinical Lead role.
- Ability to collaborate with the Nurse Manager and other leadership team members to enhance the home’s care service.
