Overview

Reporting to our Head of SEO, we are looking for a passionateand strategicSEO Account Director(Maternity Cover)toleadsome of the worlds mostrecognisedluxurybrands and ecommerce sites.

We’relooking for an experiencedSEOaccount directorwith 2+ years ofaccountdirector experience,who’sable to step in during a mat leaveand really hit the ground running.

As a leader within the team,you’llown a portfolio ofhigh-profileclients and oversee a team of SEO managers and executives.You’llset the standard for industry leading SEO,innovationand commercial responsibility, as well as working across new business andwith a wide range of channels.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic ownershipofa pod oflarge-scaleSEO accounts, delivering high value work, across content, technical and digital PR, as well as ensuring client satisfaction
  • Build trustwith clients who are nervous about there being a change in the team and put their minds at ease with your interpersonal skills
  • DriveexistingSEOroadmapsandhelp us achieve ourKPIsaligned to client business goals.You’llensure all deliverables are on track anddriving towards business goals
  • Champion Innovationwithin your accounts and the wider SEO team-bringing ideasand new ways of thinking to the table, from AI to the future of Search
  • Internal & External Stakeholder Management, providing leadership and direction to clients, team members, and cross-agency collaborators.
  • Lead New Business Pitchesin partnership with theHead of SEO,andourgrowth and strategy teams. From SEO-specific proposals to cross-channel pitches,you’llmanage the process end-to-end, frombriefing junior members of the team, commercial modelling, andparticipatinginpitch presentations
  • Forecastingusing benchmark data, client data and reasonable logic using your enhanced excel skills
  • Collaboratewith other teams and channels within the agency, creating cross channel reporting,testingandintegratedstrategies
  • Staying ahead of the curvewith the industryandwhat’shappening in the search landscapeand algorithm updates
  • Team Leadership & Development— manage and mentor a team of SEO managers and execs, providing strategic direction, performance feedback, and career development opportunities.

Required Skills

  • Minimum4+ years’ experiencein SEO, withminimum2+ years agencyand account directorexperience,ideally within a leading digital or integrated agency.
  • Proventrack recordofleadinglarge scale internationalSEOstrategiesforluxuryecommerce sites
  • Understanding of key pillars of SEO: Technical,on-sitecontent, off-sitetacticsincluding digital PRand outreach, Google Merchant Centre,and Search on Social
  • Experienceinleading a teamof specialists
  • Client facing skills, able tomanage senior stakeholders
  • Commercially minded, understandingbudgets, being able to put together scopes of works and contributing to team revenue
  • Familiarity with toolslikeSemrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, GSC, Adobe etc
  • International SEOexperience
  • Experience in working withdifferent channels
