Post Title: Midday Supervisor – Play Leader

Contract: Temporary until 31st August 2027
Salary: Grade 2 SCP 4 (£25,185) Pro Rata
Hours: 10 hours per week, Term Time, 39 weeks per annum
Start Date: 1st September 2026
Responsibilities
- Lead play activities for pupils during lunchtimes.
- Supervise children to ensure safety.
- Help children eat school dinner or packed lunch.
- Supervise children in their classes during inclement weather.
- Manage children’s behaviour positively in line with school policy.
- Follow the school’s safeguarding policy and procedures.
Qualifications and Attributes
We are looking for a Play Leader who is enthusiastic, well‑motivated, possesses excellent interpersonal skills, and is creative, positive and kind.
