Manufacturing Engineering Project Coordinator – Assemblies (Burnley)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the definition of the project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility of the plan.
  • Through project & capacity planning, manage Manufacturing Engineers’ priorities and schedules taking into consideration business needs.
  • Define, lead & chair a governance schedule to review & report all plans & action trackers, ensuring on‑time & on‑cost delivery, identifying & escalating risks where required.
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with internal & external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication at all levels of the business.
  • Sound understanding of technical documentation control.
  • Proven competency in organising multi‑faceted documentation portfolios.
  • Experience extracting data from mainstream electronic information systems.
  • Good awareness of typical tooling/manufacturing engineering activities and associated data content.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering tasks on time to support programme requirements.
  • Promote product and process integrity through accurate and reliable information management.
  • Work independently when supporting industrialisation processes.
  • Proactively pursue process knowledge to evolve awareness of technical documentation.
  • Effect change by influencing operational teams to adopt the developed lean foundations and ensure these are sustained at handover.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, continuous‑improvement, solution‑focused mindset.
  • Communicate in a concise, communicative, proactive, autonomous, thorough, methodical, perseverant, resilient, influential, and assertive manner.
