We are partnering with an ambitious and well-backed index business launching a next-generation equity indices platform, and are looking to hire a senior sales professional with deep experience selling equity index solutions to institutional clients.
This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage and play a key role in building the commercial franchise of a new index provider targeting asset managers, ETF issuers, banks, wealth platforms and institutional investors.
The Role
You will be responsible for driving commercial adoption of the firm’s equity index products across institutional markets, helping establish long-term strategic client relationships and revenue growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Selling equity index licensing, custom indices and data solutions to institutional clients
- Developing relationships with ETF issuers, asset managers, banks and wealth platforms
- Driving new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Working closely with product and leadership teams on market positioning and go-to-market strategy
- Helping shape the commercial build-out of a high-growth index business
Candidate Profile
We are specifically seeking individuals who have experience selling index products and solutions from firms such as:
- S&P Dow Jones Indices
- or similar institutional index providers
Ideal candidates will have:
- Proven track record selling equity index products, custom index solutions or licensing solutions
- Existing institutional relationships across asset managers, ETF providers and financial institutions
- Strong understanding of passive investing, benchmarks, ETFs and index construction
- Entrepreneurial mindset and appetite to help build a growing business
- Ability to operate credibly with senior institutional stakeholders
