We’re working with an innovative engineering and manufacturing company that develops high-performance products for global technology markets. They are looking for a Quality Technician to join their Operations Quality team, supporting the manufacture of world-class products within a Lean manufacturing environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Carrying out the assembly, inspection and testing of precision components and sub-assemblies.
• Performing incoming inspection and quality checks on electronic and mechanical components.
• Supporting engineering with prototype builds, new product introduction and process development.
• Analysing inspection and test data to support quality investigations and non-conformance activities.
• Assisting with root cause investigations and determining suitable pass, rework or rejection actions.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in a manufacturing, production, quality or engineering environment.
• Strong practical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience inspecting mechanical and/or electronic components.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment such as callipers, micrometers or gauges.
