Salary £50,000 to £55,000 per annum + benefits and bonus structure.

We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Manager to lead a team of 10 within a busy steel fabrication environment. Excellent business with a strong reputation for retaining staff and offering stability.

Ideal candidate

• Experience working within the steel/heavy fabrication sector.
• Proven managerial/supervisory experience with a track record of improving processes across fabrication.
• Hands‑on welding/fabrication background.
• Health & Safety / Quality driven to ensure products are manufactured to a high standard.
• Organised and natural problem‑solver who wants to own the department and continually improve all aspects.
• Comfortable with IT systems; Sage (or similar) experience is ideal but can be trained.

Responsibilities

• Manage the fabrication processes, ensuring products meet specification and standards.
• Lead and support the team, providing development and training where required.
• Introduce new processes to improve efficiency within the fabrication team.
• Maintain high quality and health & safety standards.
• Use IT packages to manage workflow and oversee fabrication tasks (e.g., nesting with Lantek).

Location: Commute from Coalville, Leicester, Ashby, Derby, Castle Donington or Nuneaton.
