Job Description:

Accountabilities

  • Implementing Procurement strategy defined by MFT (incl. supplier development)
  • Defining couple surveillance decision tree and supplier surveillance plan
  • Lead and verify couple compliance to applicable requirements with all relevant contributors
  • On Time and on Quality deliveries
  • Raising risks, actions follow-up, reporting and escalation in case on deviation to industrial target (incl. in-service issues)
  • Identifying activities to be delegated to SCQS
  • Supply Chain and Quality contribution to the MFT When coordinated by a Lead-SCQM, the job holder is accountable for providing relevant inputs related to the following activities (see §C) to the Lead-SCQM.

Main Responsibilities

Contribute to Engage Suppliers (SO.ES)

  • Contribute to feedback on Sub-Commodity strategy recommendation
  • Contribute to supplier selection and contract setup (customization of Airbus applicable requirements and procedural documents, Logistic conditions,…)
  • Contribute to Change Request evaluation
  • Contribute to deployment of SC&Q standards, methods & tools (APQP, AirSupply, eConcessions,…)
  • Contribute to supplier contract/claims management (incl. evolution of requirements, processes, tools)

Manage Couple Compliance and Maturity (SO.CS.02.02)

  • Manage couple surveillance decision tree and associated couple surveillance plan – Collect inputs, strategy and SC&Q objectives for the product (or family) – Establish, share and archive surveillance decision tree (cf. Appendix A of A2135.2_B or APQP decision tree), and initiate correspondingly risks portfolio – Establish, share surveillance plan and seek decision from management

Secure Supplier Deliveries (SO.CS.02.03)

  • Get visibility on all supplier delivery facts (incl. CnQ)
  • Consolidate and analyse the supplier performance picture
  • Protect Airbus production units and avoid recurrence of supplier issues (incl. In-Service issues) – with above mentioned means when relevant – with root cause analysis and eradication (8D/9S, PPS,…)

Manage Manufacturing Non Conformance (MC.QU.02)

  • Manage Concession – Challenge the need and content of the concession – Ensure signature of Quality task
  • Manage Quality Survey Report

Outputs

  • Feedback done on Sub-Commodity strategy recommendation
  • Contribution to Call for Tender preparation and Selection Report are provided on time
  • Contribution to contract setup and maintenance is provided (ARL, cADL consolidated, any SC&Q input when requested)
  • The suppliers are approved
  • SCR performed on time, planning and reports are loaded in ARP
  • Couple surveillance decision tree and plan are shared with management and loaded in ARP (ie. NSPI, WidePFIS when deployed)
  • Corresponding risks portfolio available, relevant risks loaded and kept up-to-date in ARM tool
  • APQP is applied for all products/services decided and in appropriate manner
  • Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering and other relevant functions contribution is ensured in all appropriate design and industrial reviews
  • Root cause of Quality issues are identified and eradicated (corrective action effectiveness are checked).
  • Any deviation to the defined industrial target (cf. compliance, capability, capacity, overall performance) as per surveillance plan is reported to stakeholders via the relevant means: Cockpit, Dashboard, 5boxes, project/mission/plan progress status, Escalation, Top Quality Issue, Hotspot, Watchtower predictive alert, SAA late action
  • SAA database are kept up-to-date (ICSIS, SAA planning…)
