LCO EPR Expansion Hive EPR Senior Analyst – Admin Service

Join the Hive EPR team powered by Epic as a Senior Analyst in the Administrative Workstream. The workstream focuses on patient access, patient referrals, appointments and related communications. The Senior Analyst will support development of technical solutions and collaborate with clinical and operational teams.

Main duties of the job

  • Design and configure the Cadence Application and adapt the application to working practices and standards.
  • Act as a link between new technology and services, ensuring a successful transition to Hive.
  • Work with staff to analyse processes, agree on clinical and operational standards and future workflows to be incorporated into Epic.
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence & Data Assurance teams to meet operational and auditing requirements.
  • Lead engagement with clinicians and other staff related to the application.
  • Collaborate with other EPR application teams across testing, security, user support and medical device integration.
  • Receive recognised qualifications as part of the EPR training programme.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Project Management qualification, postgraduate or Masters qualification in a relevant area, or equivalent experience in a Clinical Systems Implementation role.
  • Clinical qualification.
  • Demonstrated personal development.

Knowledge

  • Clinical, administrative and/or operational workflows and processes within a hospital environment.
  • Experience in a clinical or operational NHS setting and understanding of the NHS Performance Framework.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of NHS Information Standards and their application.
  • Lean & 6‑sigma analysis techniques.
  • Data Protection Act, GDPR & Information Governance.
  • Health Care IT systems.
  • Managing complex, strategic projects or areas of complex working practices.

Training and Experience

  • Evidence of communicating complex issues to a range of audiences.
  • Experience with EPIC or other clinical system accreditation.
  • Experience in business and technical requirements analysis, documentation and methodology development.

Other requirements

  • Ability to travel to all sites within the MFT Trust, reference sites and off‑site training venues, including overseas sites.
  • Provide support to end‑users through regular meetings and participation in 24/7 and/or on‑call rotations during go‑live or system upgrades as necessary.

£49,387 to £56,515 a year (pro rata).
