An Elite US firm is seeking a 2-6 PQE associate to join its Corporate Tax team in London.
Responsibilities:
You will work on a broad range of domestic and cross-border corporate tax matters, including:
- Advising on the tax aspects of M&A, private equity, and corporate restructurings
- Supporting finance, capital markets, and real estate transactions from a tax perspective
- Drafting and negotiating tax provisions within transactional documentation
- Advising on the tax implications of cross-border investments and group structures
- Assisting clients with tax risk management and transactional structuring
- Liaising directly with clients, counsel, and other internal practice groups
- Conducting legal research and staying up to date with legislative and regulatory developments
Qualifications:
- 2–6 PQE in corporate tax (either in-house or in private practice)
- England & Wales qualified
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax principles
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Strong academic background
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Commercially astute with strong client-facing skills
